It is three doctorates in one family and all of them honorary! That is Rajakumar family. There is one actual doctor doing MS and that is Nirupama heading for marriage in August this year.

The third one in Dr Rajakumar family to get honorary doctorate is Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar, Dr Raj got honour from Mysooru University, Dr Shivarajakumar got it from Ballari University and now Smt Parvathamma from Bengaluru University.

Out of six names suggested for honorary doctorate Karnataka governor Vajubai Patil approved only three names. Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar wife of icon of Kannada cinema Dr Rajakumar , GK Narayana Reddy and Chinnaswamy Mamballi.

 The honorary doctorate to Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar will be given away at the 50thconvocation of Bengaluru University on 30th May 2015 says Prof Thimme Gowda.
